Wendy Adams

Wendy has been working as a dispute resolution specialist since 2003 and is registered with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution, registration #2468.  She serves on the local roster of several court connected programs throughout the state including the Dublin Judicial District, Houston & Bibb County Mediation Program, Macon, GA, Ogeechee Judicial Circuit ADR Program, Statesboro, GA, and the Augusta Circuit ADR Program Augusta, GA.  As of 2010 she has handled over 750 cases.

She is also on the roster for the United States Postal Service REDRESS program and works in GA, AL, FL, SC and TN.  This mediation program allows employees the opportunity to resolve thier EEOC complaints against managers before "going formal" with an investigation or filing a lawsuit.  Her withdrawal and settlement rates are
significantly higher than the program average.

"Bill and I have been applying our workplace conflict resolution skills coupled with Biblical dispute resolution principles to corporate workplace settings.  The Human Resources Directors call us, as an early intervention tactic, before the employee files an EEO complaint.  We meet with them in an informal Workplace Solutions meeting where we discuss issues, needs and strategy.  This allows both the needs of the organization and the needs of the employee to be addressed." - Wendy Adams

Hercreative problem solving skills are a diverse mix of working as a business consultant with the University of Georgia’s Small Business Development Center, teaching college, being an administrator in the academic world and working in a family owned business.

Bill and Wendy co-own Disputes Limited and provide mediation services, negotiation coaching and conflict management training. Co-mediating approximately 40 domestic cases per year and specialize in high conflict cases with clients who have a family owned business or significant assets. They find that an experienced male/female team brings balance to the divorce mediation setting and allowing us to provide an unsurpassed level of customer service to the people involved in the emotional process of divorce.  We both have training that relates to divorce including High Conflict Specialized Domestic Violence, Divorce Financial Analyst, Succession Planning for Small Business and Advanced Child Support Calculation.  Mediation is a way to minimize the pain of divorce.  It has been my experience that trying to get a divorce through the traditional court process is agonizing, expensive and time consuming.

Wendy holds an A.A. in Business with an emphasis in Legal Assistant Studies (1991), a Bachelor of Technology in Business (1992) and a Master of Public Administration degree with an emphasis in International Policy (1997). She has attended  200+ hours of Mediation training including:
